Community Partners

The Nest Collective is a registered charity providing free packs of baby essentials to whānau experiencing hardship. We work alongside social workers, midwives, kaiāwhina, health professionals and other community organisations to ensure babies have the items they need to flourish during their first year of life.

Our pēpi packs are tailored to each baby’s needs and may include clothing, bedding, nappies, books, toys, safety items and other essential resources. By providing practical support, we help reduce material hardship and ensure whānau have access to the basics every baby deserves.

Our packs are designed to be more than a collection of items. They are a practical intervention that can have a lasting impact on the health, wellbeing and development of a baby, while also easing some of the pressure on whānau during a challenging time.

We know that community partners are often supporting families with complex needs. By working together, we can help meet the practical needs of a new baby, allowing you to focus on the wider support you provide to whānau.
